They are hot forged i.e. drawn to shape, not welded or fabricated and with the knuckle being fashioned in the traditional way it makes for a very strong product

When Opened, a tee hinge has the appearance of a letter ‘T’. An alternative to butt hinges, tee hinges are usually used in conjunction with a suffolk latch on traditional plank doors. They can also be used on cupboard doors or kitchen cabinets
