The Cardea Polished Nickel Door Knocker on Rose has a slim knocker in the shape of a slipper, it fits in the hand comfortably and has a circular strike plate that is fixed beneath the knocker to avoid indentations and marks on your door during use
The Cardea Polished Nickel finish is a solid brass plating and will generally require little maintenance as nickel is a relatively slow ageing metal
To maintain the finish we recommend wiping the item with a micro-fibre cloth to remove dirt deposits and polishing with a good quality metal polish. The application of a light wax after cleaning can be beneficial but is not essential. We do NOT recommend the use of liquid polishes that will leave a residue
